An apparatus for providing contents is provided to enable a user to receive compensation according as the user uses the advertisement contents and to enable an advertiser to advertise products or companies by using the contents synthesized with the advertisement contents. An apparatus for providing contents comprises an advertiser server connecting unit(10), a storage unit(20), a user server connecting unit(30), a synthesizing unit(40) and a transceiver(50). The advertiser server connecting unit(10) controls connection to an advertiser server. The storage unit(20) stores contents, original image, synthesized contents or information provided by the advertiser server. The user server connecting unit(30), connected to a user terminal, controls connection to the user terminal. The synthesizing unit(40) generates the synthesized image or information by synthesizing the advertisement contents with the original image. The transceiver(50) transmits the synthesized image or information to the digital frame or receives display information from the digital frame. |
