PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air current classifier providing a high classifying accuracy. SOLUTION: This air current classifier is structured so as to classify powder raw materials jetted into a classifying chamber using the Coanda effect. The classifier has a raw material transporting passage Q transporting the raw materials to the classifying chamber by air current, a pair of secondary air current supply passages 51a, 51b facing each other across the passage Q, and a tapered pipe 47 disposed on the passage Q. The pair of the secondary air current supply passages 51a, 51b introduce the secondary air current in the diagonally downstream direction to make the air currents cross each other in point-like regions D1, D2 in the passage Q. Cross-sectional area of the tapered pipe 47 increases toward the downstream side. By this configuration, the secondary air current jetting from the passages 51a, 51b smoothly advances along the sloped inner surface of the tapered pipe 47 while being widened, to satisfactorily disperse the powder raw materials.
