Method and device for stabilising the operating voltage in the electrical system of a motor vehicle

The method involves detecting a momentary performance of a battery provided for on-board power supply. An insufficient performance of the battery introduction of emergency operation is detected with an increase of the control dynamics of the generator of the on-board power supply. The momentary performance of the battery provided for the on-board power supply is detected. An insufficient performance of the battery on further increase of the control dynamics of the generator is detected. An insufficient performance of the battery is detected on reduction of the control dynamics of the generator to its original value. An independent claim is also included for a device for stabilizing an operating voltage in a vehicle on-board power supply.
