METAL COATING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR HEMP CLOTH USING PHYSICAL EVAPORATION

An apparatus and a method for metal coating of hemp cloth are provided to reduce cost and time for coating hemp cloth with metal, increase deposition efficiency, and effectively display gold color with a small quantity of gold by dry depositing gold or silver on the hydrophilic functional group-formed surface of the hemp cloth after forming a hydrophilic functional group on a surface of hemp cloth. An apparatus(100) for metal coating of hemp cloth comprises: a first receiving part(110) including a vacuum tank(111), a receiving roll(112), transfer rolls(113a,113b), and a vacuum pump(114), the vacuum tank having a discharge port(111a) to which a first transfer pipe(150) is connected, the receiving roll having a hemp cloth fabric or a lower metal-deposited hemp cloth wound thereon; a surface treating equipment(120) including a vacuum chamber(121) and ion beam generators(122,123), the vacuum chamber having an injection port(121a), a discharge port(121b), and gas inlets(121c,121d), the discharge port having a connecting pipe(160) connected thereto, the gas inlets having adjusting valves(121e,121f) installed thereon; a dry deposition equipment(130) including a vacuum chamber(131), and deposition equipments(132,133), the vacuum chamber having an injection port(131a), a discharge port(131b), and gas inlets(131c,131d), the gas inlets having adjusting valves installed thereon; and a second receiving part(140) including a vacuum tank(141), a receiving roll(142), transfer rolls(143a,143b), and a vacuum pump(144), the vacuum tank having an injection port(141a) to which a second transfer pipe(170) is connected.
