A remote wireless device using a cross type laser beam and a photo detecting element is provided to make it possible to select coordinates intuitively without lines, and to enhance convenience by using a principle of a shooting system. A remote wireless device comprises a transmitter(11), receivers(2,3,4,5), and a controller. The transmitter(11) is for performing a wanted operation via a screen pointing. The receivers(2,3,4,5), arranged at proper positions on a monitor, include photo detector for sensing incident beam positions on a screen though the "+" shape is transformed into the "x" shape via rotation of the transmitter(11). The controller calculates physical positions of photo detectors from signals sensed by the receivers(2,3,4,5), constructs a reference coordinate system with each receiver length, generates one linear equation with upper/lower position data and the other equation with left/right position data, generates a cross point of the two linear equations, calculates an absolute coordinate on a monitor and transmits the absolute coordinate to an information device.
