The drive (1) has an electric motor with a motor housing (3) that is connected with a heat sink (5) by a retainer (7). The retainer has a case-like retaining section (8) and a fastening flange (9). The section has an inner circumferential wall which is in laminar contact with the motor at its outer circumference. The flange has fastening points (13) provided for laminar connection with the sink, and has flange areas (12) arranged at a distance from each other in a circumferential direction. The retainer and the sink are made of materials having same thermal expansion coefficient.
