A coating composition for electroplated steel is provided to be harmless to a worker and improve physical properties of a coating layer. A coating composition for electroplated steel includes 1-5wt% of nanosilica, 1-5wt% of at least one silane, 0.1-1wt% of an acidity-controlling agent, 1-10wt% of a water-soluble solvent, 0.01-0.05wt% of a metal rust inhibitor, 0.1-0.25wt% of an additive, and the balance of water. The at least one silane is selected from the group comprising vinyl trimethoxysilane, vinyl triethoxysilane, 3-methacryloxy trimethoxysilane, 2-glycidyloxypropyl trimethoxysilane, 2-aminopropyl triethoxysilane, and 2-ureidoalkyl triethoxysilane. |
