LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to prevent an afterimage caused by a flicker. An LCD is comprised of the first insulation substrate, gate lines(120n to 120n-1), data lines, pixel electrodes(180), the first TFTs(Thin Film Transistors)(T1) and the second TFTs(T2). The gate lines are formed on the first insulation substrate, and the data lines and the gate lines define pixel areas across each other. Each of the pixel electrodes, formed in each of the pixel areas, has a main pixel electrode(181) and a sub pixel electrode(182). Each of the first TFTs is connected to each of the main pixel electrodes, and has drain electrodes. Each of the second TFTs has a control port connected to a front-end gate line, an input port connected to each of the sub pixel electrodes, and an output port connected to each of the main pixel electrodes.
