NETWORK COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT, NETWORK SYSTEM, AND FRAME TRANSFER METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify label management of core MPLS (multi-protocol label switching) by ensuring end-to-end connection and reducing the number of labels to be identified by core MPLS communication equipment without increasing frame overheads.

SOLUTION: In this network communication equipment for transferring a frame, the frame to be transferred includes destination information showing the transfer destination of the frame, the network communication equipment is provided with: a plurality of interfaces to be connected to other network communication equipment; transfer information holding relation between frame destination and the interfaces; a transferring part for outputting the input frame to the interface corresponding to the destination referring to the transfer information; and a converting part for converting the destination information attached to the input frame. The converting part eliminates information other than information to be used by network communication equipment directly connected to the network communication network, and stores a portion of the eliminated destination information in the different area of the frame.
