METHOD FOR PRODUCING NON-ZEOLITE MOLECULAR SIEVE CATALYST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adding a component for hydrogenation to a non-zeolite molecular sieve (NZMS) in order to produce a catalyst material having higher activity for catalytic conversion than similar catalyst materials produced by conventional methods.

SOLUTION: An improved method is provided to add the component for hydrogenation to the particles of a non-zeolite molecular sieve catalyst keeping a loss of pore volume to a minimum. The method includes adding an activity source for the component for hydrogenation dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent.
