<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food composition that can efficiently suppress oxidation degradation and thermal degradation, while being able to contain ample amount of luteins. <P>SOLUTION: The food composition contains luteins as active ingredients, and 0.075-7.5 pts.wt. of tocotrienol for preventing the degradation of the luteins based on 100 pts.wt. of the luteins, more preferably, making the composition contain coenzyme Q10 for preventing color deterioration of the luteins. The food composition thus obtained is offered in various forms, for instance, as a granular, a tablet or a hard capsule forms. In any kind of form, the composition contains ample amount of luteins, while being able to efficiently suppress decomposition due to oxidation or heating of luteins. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
