PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a mounting process and a printed circuit board for mounting an electronic component, by providing a resistor, to be disposed in a branch connector, in a circuit without mounting it on the circuit board. SOLUTION: In this branch connector provided at a location where a plurality of branch lines are branched from mains, terminal materials for connecting the mains, which are equipped with electrical connection parts for connecting the mains at their one ends and wire connecting parts connected to first wires at the other ends, and terminal materials for connecting the branch lines, which are equipped with electrical connection parts for connecting the branch lines at their one end, and wire connecting parts connected to second wires at the other ends, are housed and locked in a connector housing, and the second wires connected to the terminal materials for connecting the branch lines are wires having higher resistance compared with the first wires, and current carrying parts are provided on the terminal side of these first wires and the second wires. The first wires and the second wires are formed so that their lengths from the location where they are connected with the terminal materials to the current carrying parts are set to lengths by which the second wires have a required resistance value.
