PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum station of unit structure in which an installation space is small and the maintenance of equipment is easy, and to provide a vacuum type sewer system using the vacuum station. SOLUTION: The vacuum station is composed of vacuum pump units 100, 300, 400 comprising root-type vacuum pumps 12; a water collecting tank unit 200 comprising a water collecting tank 31; and a control panel 50 controlling the normal rotating and reverse rotating operation of the vacuum pumps.
