<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To require much time since system start is constrained after the completion of the transfer of all programs from a flash memory to a random accessible external memory. <P>SOLUTION: When a power is supplied, the initialization of a system is performed according to an initialization program read from a flash memory 2, and stored in an internal memory 8, and access to the external memory 3 is made possible. A DMA control part 10 reads a system start program from the flash memory 2, and directly transfers it to the external memory 3. A memory management part 9 manages the completion of program transfer when a CPU 5 reads the program from the external memory 3. When the transfer of the program for system start under the DMA control part 10 is completed, the CPU 5 performs system start according to the program of system start read from the external memory 3, and the DMA control part 10 reads the program for system control from the flash memory 2, and transfers it to the external memory 3 simultaneously in parallel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
