PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting motor that efficiently cools a plurality of superconducting coils arranged in a plurality of circumferential positions of a stator to a desired cryogenic temperature while reducing or eliminating temperature differences.
SOLUTION: A superconducting motor 10 includes a rotatably arranged rotor 20 and a stator 22 radially outwardly opposed to the rotor 20, and coils 36 are wound as a plurality of superconducting coils on an inner circumferential end of the stator 22, that is, one radial end. The superconducting motor 10 includes a refrigerator 14 having a plurality of capillaries 66 for conducting a low temperature refrigerant therein, and the plurality of capillaries 66 are at least partly arranged in a stator core 34. Connection portions 75, 77 at both ends of the plurality of capillaries 66, as refrigerant supply/discharge connection portions, are disposed on opposite axial sides of the stator 22 and diametrally opposite with respect to the rotational center axis of the rotor 20.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
