The system has a controller (3) for comparing distance between following global positioning system (GPS) coordinates and following reference coordinates of a vehicle with respect to reference distance. The controller allocates the GPS coordinates to precise coordinates for emission of the GPS coordinates when the distance between the coordinates is higher than the reference coordinates or allocates the reference distance which makes precise coordinates for the emission of the precise coordinates when the distance between the coordinates is lower than the reference coordinates. An independent claim is also included for a method for obtaining a position of a vehicle.
