<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pick up a high-quality image in which black floating or black sinking is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera comprises a solid-state imaging element 100 including an imaging plane with a plurality of pixels (pixels X) each for detecting a signal in accordance with the quantity of incident light being formed in a two-dimensional array shape; a photographing lens of which an image forming range is set as an image circle 1 on the imaging plane of the solid-state imaging element 100; and a control means which defines, as a black level, output data from pixels Y (in the same structure as the pixels X) outside the image circle 1 in image data picked up and outputted by the solid-state imaging element 100 and processes picked-up image data of an object in the image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
