<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make grayscale correction without performing color gamut compression even when a color signal to be corrected is converted into a color signal belonging to color space different from that the color signal to be corrected belongs to when a gray scale correction of the color signal to be corrected is made. <P>SOLUTION: A color processor includes a grayscale correction information storage unit 12 which stores grayscale correction information for correcting the grayscale of the color signal to be corrected, a grayscale correction information normalizing unit 13 which reads the grayscale correction information out of the grayscale correction information storage unit 12 and normalizes the grayscale correction information according to the color signal to be corrected to generate normalized grayscale correction information, and a grayscale correcting unit 14 which converts the color signal to be corrected into a corrected color signal by using the normalized grayscale correction information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
