PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display device in which processing of a larger number of TAPs is attainable when one video source is displayed for the number of the TAPs of the operation block of the same number as what designed by the conventional technique, and the higher image quality becomes achievable. SOLUTION: The video display device is provided with an input path of a video source A, a frame buffer group which stores the video source A, a function block C which works the video source, and a buffer group for performing processing in the function block C. The function block C has a control block E controlling the state, a register block F designating a processing method and parameter, and an operation block H. The block constituting the operation block H is a video display device, a portion thereof or the whole thereof is constituted of a product computing unit or sum computing unit.
