A method and an apparatus for notifying about site work information in a mobile communication system are provided to prevent a sharp degradation of a system call success rate caused as a site re-accessed by contents subscribers who fail to recognize that the site is under construction. A CP(Contents Provider) site(170) transfers site work-related information to a work management site. When a work start time included in the work-related information arrives, a work management site server(180) transfers a work management server IP(Internet Protocol) address and a port number connecting to CP work content to a DNS(Domain Name System) server(160). The DNS server(160) stores the IP address and the port number, and when a subscriber terminal(110) requests connection to the CP site, the DNS server(160) transfers the IP address and the port number to the terminal(110) so as for the subscriber terminal(110) to be connected to the work management server. The connected work management server transfers work content corresponding to the port number to the subscriber terminal(110).
