PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organoelectroluminescent element that exhibits a high light-emitting efficiency and high driving stability using an organic compound suitable for a wet film-forming method, particularly an organic compound that has high effects for confining an electron and an exciton in a light-emitting layer side and excellent preservation stability. SOLUTION: The organic compound is represented by formula (I). The organoelectroluminescent element comprises a substrate and, formed thereon, a positive electrode, a negative electrode and one or two or more organic layers sandwiched between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, where at least one of the organic layers comprises the organic compound.
