<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal enabling a user to activate an application program and reproduce a music desired to be listen to with less time and effort. <P>SOLUTION: The cellular phone 10 has a reproducing means for reproducing a music; a preserving means for preserving the music data to be reproduced; a GUI for registering an application program and a music to be interlocked with each other; a storage means for storing the registration details; and a control means for controlling the activation of the application program and reproduction of the music on the basis of the registration details. The music reproducing means consists of a compander 17, a PCM codec 18, a reception amplifier 19, a speaker 20, and a control unit 23. The GUI consists of an input device 27, a main display 28 and a control unit 23.
