<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of a support due to the convergence of light from a light-emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device 100 is provided with the support 106 having a wall portion 101 made of resin, and a plurality of light-emitting elements 103a and 103b disposed on the support 106 across the wall portion 101. In particular, the device of the present invention is characterized in that each of the light-emitting elements 103a and 103b has the shortest side among the sides that form the external shape, as viewed from the light-emitting main surface thereof, directed to different sidewall surfaces 101a and 101b in the wall portion 101, and that the intersections of lengthwise center axes A-A and B-B of the light-emitting main surface and a center line C-C in the extending direction of the wall portion, are different in the light-emitting elements 103a and 103b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
