PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band saw type pipe cutter, efficiently cutting a plurality of pipes at one time. SOLUTION: The band saw type pipe cutter 1 for half-splitting a pipe along the longitudinal direction includes: a band saw 4 stretched between pulleys 3 disposed on a work table to cut in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the work table 2; an inlet guide device 6 disposed at the back of the band saw in the pipe advancing direction to guide the pipe to a cutting blade of the band saw parallel to the work table; a feeder 7 in which a feed pedestal for fixing a support rod is provided movably in parallel along the work table of the cutter; and a vibration restraining device disposed at the back of the band saw 4 in the pipe advancing and retreating direction (a) to press the pipe 5 cut by the band saw 4 and moving parallel to the work table 2 toward the work table 2 side by a guide member.
