<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument and a program in which there is no change in program for controlling touch curve, even if a keyboard that has a touch sensor of whatever characteristics is mounted. <P>SOLUTION: There are two kinds of keyboard units, of high and low key-touch resolutions. Since the keyboard unit, equipped with touch detecting mechanism with high resolution, detects, for example, 512 stages of pressing force, delicate changes in the depressing force can be detected. Since the keyboard unit, equipped with touch detecting mechanism with low resolution, detects, for example, only 128 stages of the depressing force, touch output is significantly changed with only a slight change in the depressing force, and the touch output will not change smoothly. Here, a touch curve, as is shown in Fig. (c) which is (approximately) linear is selected. As a result, unnaturalness is eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
