<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inserter 1 and an image forming system 2 facilitating jamming processing of a sheet S at the inserter 1 installed between an image forming apparatus 3 and a post-processing device 4 without moving the post-processing device 4. <P>SOLUTION: In the inserter 1 provided between the image forming apparatus 3 and the post-processing device 4 introducing a sheet on which an image is formed by the image forming apparatus 3 into the inside of the device and performing prescribed processing and separately inserting a sheet S on the way of a sheet conveyance path from the image forming apparatus 3 to the post-processing device 4, the inserter 1 has a drawer mechanism so as to be drawn toward the front of the image forming apparatus 3 from its installation state. The work for moving the post-processing device 4 or the like is not required, and the time and the trouble required in the jamming processing are reduced.
