METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR STORING VIDEO DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for storing video data.

SOLUTION: The data storage method includes the steps of: mapping a memory to record data of a plurality of continuous lines in a video frame in one memory bank alternately at intervals of a specified number of bytes; and recording in a memory the data of the lines according to memory mapping. Thus, in the step of reading data in units of predetermined blocks in order to process video data, the number of accesses to the memory can be reduced and video data processing speed is increased.
