PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide footwear suitable for walking of a user with invalidity in a toe region, which allows the user to safely and easily put on/off the footwear, and is capable of minimizing the exposure of the foot region according to the scene. SOLUTION: In the footwear for the person with invalidity in the toe region, an instep opening composed of inner/outer quarter pieces and a sole with an inclined face to rise from the center in the longitudinal direction toward the toe part. The footwear also has an instep cover with a hook and loop fastener along the lower end to cover the instep opening. In the footwear, the instep cover which can be attached to a raised upper continued with the inner/outer quarter pieces from the toe part to the center in the longitudinal direction.
