PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device capable of achieving a size reduction while having an image blur correcting function. SOLUTION: The portable device includes: a substrate 22 fixed to a housing 10a; an imaging means 54 fixed to one surface of the substrate; a protective member 20a made of a transparent material and fixed to the housing; a lens barrel 53 disposed between the protective member and imaging means and holding all lenses 51 and 52 used to image a luminous flux passing through the protective member onto the imaging means; a vibration detecting means 21 fixed to the housing and used to detect vibration of the housing; and shake correcting means 57p, 58p, and 59p for rocking the lens barrel in relation to the imaging means based on an output from the vibration detecting means, thereby reducing image blur caused in the imaging means by the shake.
