<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program for making a computer display information according to the status of a peripheral device, which can be used in common to all peripheral devices regardless of the models thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The program for making a computer connected with a peripheral device display information according to the status of the peripheral device makes the computer execute: a procedure (1) for acquiring correspondence data showing a correspondence of the status of the peripheral device with information to be displayed on the computer from the outside of the program; a procedure (2) for acquiring a status from the peripheral device; a procedure (3) for determining whether the status acquired in the procedure (2) is contained in the correspondence data acquired in the procedure (1) or not; and a procedure (4) for displaying, when the status is determined to be contained in the correspondence data, information corresponding the status, which is described in the correspondence data, on a display of the computer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
