<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic fine particle-containing aromatic polyamide fiber, which has a high flexibility and a light weight, excellent in wear feeling, and is also capable of obtaining cloth suitable for stab-proof clothing having a good protective performance against stabbing with a knife etc. <P>SOLUTION: This inorganic fine particle-containing aromatic polyamide fiber incorporates the inorganic fine particles having a specific functional group on their surfaces in the aromatic polyamide fiber in a prescribed amount. That is, the inorganic fine particle-containing aromatic polyamide fiber contains the inorganic fine particles having a functional group having a compatibility with solvent constituting the spinning solution (dope) on their surfaces so as to be ≥5 and ≤50 mass% content based on the total of the aromatic polyamide fiber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
