PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for a rainwater storage structure, which enables the easy inspection of not only the inside of a structure below a manhole but also all parts of the structure, which can reduce transportation costs by facilitating assembly from individual component members so as to enable on-site assembly and which can flexibly adapt to the shape of a rainwater storage and penetration tank, and the rainwater storage structure using the member. SOLUTION: This member comprises a pipe-like vertical member 2 with a predetermine length, and a horizontal member 1 which is engaged with the vertical member 2 so as to assemble a three-dimensional structure A; a three-dimensional structure A is formed by assembling the vertical member 2 and the horizontal member 1 together; and a space can be formed inside the three-dimensional structure A. A protruding recess, which is provided at the end of the horizontal member 1, is engaged with a protrusion which is provided on the outer peripheral portion of the vertical member 2, so that the horizontal member 1 and the vertical member 2 can be irrotationally connected together.
