PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member component for a vehicle capable of reducing vehicle body weight by improving section yield strength of a bend part. SOLUTION: In the member component 1 for the vehicle joining a front side member 2 and the extension member 3, a section to the extension member 3 from a rear part of the front side member 2 is the bend part 4 smoothly bent and inclined downward, and a reinforcement bead 5 is continuously formed on side surfaces 21s, 31s, and 22s, 32s continuing to the bend part 4 from the front side member 2 which is a straight section of the member component 1 for the vehicle. Consequently, bending stiffness of the member component 1 for the vehicle is increased by improving section yield strength of the bend part 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
