PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drilling unit which dispenses with a platform and a drilling-pipe lifting means by enabling a drilling pipe to be attached to a drilling-pipe rotating means on the ground. SOLUTION: The built-up drilling unit 100 comprises: an ascending/descending block 60 which ascends/descends while being guided by a support 47 (detachably erected on a base plate block 30 which is placed on the ground 2); a tilting block 70 which is tiltably installed in the ascending/descending block 60; and a rotary driving means 80 which is fixed to the tilting block 70. A tilting shaft 71, which is formed on the tilting block 70, is rotatably inserted into an tilting hole 61 (not shown in Fig. ) which is formed in the ascending/descending block 60. Thus, the ascending/descending block 60 is lowered; the rotary driving means 80 is put into an approximately horizontal state on the ground; and the drilling pipe (not shown in Fig. ) can be connected to a drilling-pipe connecting portion 81. Since the drilling pipe is brought parallel to the support 47 only by making the ascending/descending block 60 ascend, drilling can be started. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
