PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens device which is capable of reducing operation noise when a lens is moved and the exposure of a moving part. SOLUTION: The lens device 10 is equipped with: a fixed lens barrel 60 having an opening 76 in the side surface thereof; lens frames 62b and 62c which are provided in the fixed lens barrel 60 and supported so as to be freely moved in the direction of an optical axis O; a cam barrel 64 which is provided in the fixed lens barrel 60 and turned to move the lens frames 62b and 62c in the direction of the optical axis O; a pulley 74 which is provided outside the fixed lens barrel 60 and for turning the barrel body 64; an endless belt 72 which passes through an opening 76, to connect the cam barrel 64 and the pulley 74; and tension adjusting rollers 79 and 79 for adjusting the tension of the endless belt 72.
