<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital controller having a testing device for an input/output circuit capable of reducing testing efforts and reducing input errors. <P>SOLUTION: A test starts at the touch of a start button B1 on a touch-panel liquid-crystal display 111, and input point numbers to be tested are designated at the touch of point number buttons 1, C2, C3, etc. Then the character display colors of the input point numbers become orange. A tester short-circuits the digital input terminals of the input point numbers to be tested, and inputs simulated ON signals to determine whether or not ON signals have been actually input to the terminals of the input point numbers; if the ON signals have been input, an OK signal is sent so that the character display colors of the input point numbers become green. If no ON signal is input within a predetermined period of time, an error is reported. Since the input point numbers are designated on the touch-panel liquid-crystal display 111, the need to input the input point numbers by means of keys is eliminated, resulting in reduced testing efforts and reduced input errors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
