<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device in which a lens can be fixed with one component, which achieves the enhancement of working efficiency and the reduction of cost, and whose adjusting component and lens are both recycled, and to provide a projection type video display device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical device equipped with the lens 19 mounted through the adjusting component 45, the adjusting component 45 is equipped with a positioning fitting part 451 in which one side of the outer circumference of the lens 19 is fit, so that the lens 19 is positioned, and an elastic fitting part 455 which is elastically fit to the other side of the outer circumference of the lens 19 whose one side is fit in the positioning fitting part 451. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
