PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle simulator having a treading force adjusting mechanism applying a load to a pedal treading force and facilitating the adjustment of the pedal load in a small, lightweight and simple constitution. SOLUTION: A flywheel 37 is disposed between a pedal 34 comprising a crank 43, a treading part 44 and a rotary shaft, and a rear wheel 80 supporting a bicycle body in contact with a floor face in the rear side of the bicycle body. A roller 51 applying a rotation resistance to the flywheel 37 by coming into contact with its outer circumferential face and drivenly rotating is provided in the front side of the bicycle body of the flywheel 37. The outer circumference part of the roller 51 consists of a rubber member, and a roller supporting member 52 rotatingly journaling the roller 51 is swingably attached to the outer tubular part 41 of the rotary shaft of the pedal 34. The roller supporting member 52 pushes the roller 51 toward the flywheel 37 by the energizing force of a spring 55 disposed between itself and the bicycle body. The energizing force of the spring 55, namely the pedal load, can be changed by changing the fastening amount between a bolt 58 and a nut 60. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
