The device has hydraulic diaphragm seals (5a, 5b) filled with a pressure transformation medium (10), and a detection medium arranged outside of the seals in an area of a critical joining section (13) of a measurement cell (2), where the detection medium experiences condition change in case of contact with the transformation medium. A detection unit attached to the detection medium detects the condition change of the detection medium. An output unit (20) generates an indication that leakage is occurred in the area of the joining section.
