FUEL CELL AND HORIZONTAL-STRIPE TYPE CELL THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable cell for a fuel cell and the fuel cell preventing dangers of contact with outside or disconnection, by not using an outside terminal for electrical connection on a front surface of a cell and on a back surface of cell but forming a connecting member between solid electrolyte and a porous supporting body.

SOLUTION: A horizontal-stripe type cell for the fuel cell with power generating elements 13 formed on a front surface and a back surface of the porous supporting body 11 has power generating elements 13, on both surfaces opposite to the porous supporting body 11 in a cell tip electrically connected with each other by the connecting member 30 between the opposing surfaces installed on the surface and/or inside the porous supporting body 11.
