PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable lubricant capable of solving various problems caused if a conventional mineral oil-based lubricant or the like is used as an antifriction agent when materials are rubbed with each other, such as poor lubricity, a troublesome work in post-treatment including oil treatment, and an adverse environmental effect. SOLUTION: A lubricant is applied to surfaces of materials so as to reduce friction, if the materials are rubbed with each other. Instead of a conventional mineral oil-based lubricant, a liquid lubricant of a suspension containing an appropriate amount of starch is applied.
