PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of suppressing free movement of a displayed object to be housed. SOLUTION: The display device 1 for housing and displaying a sheet shape displayed object 10 includes: a transparent front surface plate 2 for supporting the appreciation surface 11 of the displayed object 10; a rear surface plate 3 for supporting a surface at the rear side of the appreciation surface 11 in the displayed object 10; a fixing means 4 for fixing the front surface plate 2 to the rear surface plate 3 in a state that the displayed object 10 is held between the front surface plate 2 and the rear surface plate 3; and slip preventing parts 5 for suppressing the slip of the displayed object 10, which are arranged on surfaces to contact the displayed object 10 in the front surface plate 2 and/or the rear surface plate 3.
