METHOD OF CONTROLLING CALL ARRIVAL WAITING OPERATION AND TERMINAL DEVICE UTILIZING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is desired to attain a call arrival waiting operation corresponding to characteristics of a terminal device.

SOLUTION: A radio unit 20 and a baseband processing unit 22 carry out radio communication with a plurality of base station devices corresponding to a plurality of radio communication systems, respectively. A remaining battery capacity management unit 32 investigates remaining capacity of a battery 42 to supply power to the radio unit 20 and the like. A control unit 28 controls the call arrival waiting operation that the radio unit 20 and the baseband processing unit 22 should perform on the plurality of base station devices based on the remaining capacity of the battery investigated in the remaining battery capacity management unit 32. The control unit 28 specifies priorities to the plurality of radio communication units and prolongs a time interval of the call arrival waiting operation for a base station device corresponding to a radio communication system of low priority as the remaining capacity of the battery 42 is reduced.
