PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a battery not only in a standby mode for calling, but also during wireless communications. SOLUTION: A wireless master device 4 and a wireless slave device 5 perform intermittent reception during wireless communications. A ringing signal from the wireless slave device 5 includes information regarding intermittent reception intervals. The wireless master device 4 transmits an answer signal to the wireless slave device 5 according to the intermittent reception intervals designated by the wireless slave device 5.
