PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively suppress temperature rise of a heating part such as a laser light source body of a pickup device. SOLUTION: A pickup device (5) performs recording or reproducing of one or more kinds of optical disks, and is provided with an pickup base (51) as a case of the pickup device, one or more laser light source bodies (61) arranged at the pickup base and radiating a laser beam in accordance with a kind, and a heat radiating plate (71) connected thermally to at least one laser light source body and having a plurality of planes. Then, one or more heat radiation holes (75) formed so as to penetrate the surface and the back of the heat radiating plate are provided at a region including at least one part of a bent part being a boundary of one plane and other plane out of the plurality of planes.
