PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polymer powder especially excellent in powder flowability and scratch resistance. SOLUTION: This method for producing polymer powder comprises a process for stirring and mixing an acrylic block copolymer (A) comprising a methacrylic polymer block (a) and an acrylic polymer block (b) and having acid anhydride groups and/or carboxyl groups in the methacrylic polymer block (a) and/or the acrylic polymer block (b), an acrylic polymer (B) having 1.1 reactive functional groups (x) in one molecule on the average, an inorganic substance (C), water and a dispersant to obtain a slurry containing polymer particles comprising the components (A) to (B), and a process for removing the solvent from the slurry, and then mixing the slurry with a polymer latex and an aqueous electrolyte solution to adhere the latex to the polymer particles.
