<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well capture the thrombus present on the circumference of the tip part of a catheter or debris such as the atheroma or the like separated into a blood vessel to suck and remove the same even in a case that the inner diameter of the blood vessel is considerably larger than the outer diameter of the catheter. <P>SOLUTION: An axial thrombus sucking lumen 6 and an almost axial guide wire lumen are arranged to a catheter main body 1 and a plurality of suction port rows 9 and 10 composed of suction ports 11 arranged axially are arranged to the side wall of the thrombus sucking lumen 6 in a peripheral direction. When it is assumed that the suction port rows 9 and 10 are revolved up to the positions of the suction port rows 9 and 10 adjacent circumferentially to each other, two suction ports 11 adjacent circumferentially to each other in one of the suction port rows 9 and 10 are set to the positional relation overlapped with the suction ports 11 of the other one of the suction port rows 9 and 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
