PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device capable of reducing the time for a user to wait for the completion of loading of game data.

SOLUTION: A game condition setting guide part 50 displays a guide screen for guiding the user to set a game condition. A game condition temporarily setting part 52 temporarily sets a game condition based on a random number before the guide screen is displayed. A first game data loading part 56 starts loading game data corresponding to the temporarily set game condition before the guide screen is displayed. A game condition comparing part 54 compares the game condition set by the user with the temporarily set game condition. A second game data loading part 58 loads game data corresponding to the game condition set by the user according to the result of comparison.
