<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing program and image processor, performing Retinex processing and histogram processing at high speed. <P>SOLUTION: Based upon the clip range obtained by the processing of S9, among the pixels constituting an image, the pixels of rows and columns of multiple of 2 (even number) are sampled from Rs(x, y) stored in a reduced retinex memory (S11).
