PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily measure the height of the installation height of a target object of inspection, such as sheath tube or reinforcing bar. SOLUTION: The height inspection device includes: a long reference measure 11; a slide measure 12 which is slidable, with respect to the reference measure 11 in the longitudinal direction thereof; a contact member 13 provided at a lower end portion of a side surface of the slide measure 12 so as to protrude outward; and a scale 24 attached along the reference measure 11 or the slide measure 12 in the longitudinal direction thereof, for measuring the relative distance of the slide measure 12 lower end with respect to the reference measure 11 lower end.
